Here's a little story...

This is a picture that was taken in the Loris Malaguzzi International Center, when I took part in the Reggio Emilia International Study Tour in 2022! I love this picture, as it captures me finding back to myself, my happiness and laughter.

When I started my career as a teacher, I was full of ambition, but not self-confident enough, so I aligned with what other teachers were doing.

It didn't feel right at all, but I ignored this until I reached a point of no return falling into a depression due to me being overworked and unfulfilled...

I knew I had to change something because teaching had always been my passion and I didn't want to let anyone destroy this! To be the best teacher I could be, I needed to become more confident in my beliefs and be able to justify my professional reasoning.

But this wasn't enough... Although I had started to prepare 'learning provocations', I never understood what exactly I was doing.
With a good teacher friend of mine I decided to implement the building structures project, which changed my teaching journey!

I finally understand what I was missing! This safe and manageable project allowed me to let go of control, observe carefully, interact mindfully and unse a conceptual lens, rather than a thematic one!

Talking to many teachers on the same journey, the only thing that held them back was their confidence, so join me and start building your confidence to provide an education you believe in, not only as a teacher, but also as a human being!
